Tom Holland discusses his journey in sobriety.
Tom Holland is being open about his three-year sobriety journey as he prepares for his upcoming film, Spider-Man 4. The 28-year-old, who will celebrate three years of sobriety in January 2025, shared insights into his path of resilience.
During his appearance on Good Morning America, Tom Holland shared that his sobriety has enhanced his golf game. He noted, “One of my favorite things about my sober life is the 9 a.m. tee time with all my friends, where I’m fresh as a daisy and I’m dragging them onto the tee box.”
Holland expressed his enthusiasm for this new chapter, saying, “I love it. It’s been fantastic.” He reflected on how sobriety has allowed him to embrace his favorite activities and become a better person overall, stating, “One of the biggest things I learned after getting sober was how much I could handle and how capable I am in certain situations.”
He added, “I can really take it in my stride, get on with it, and just enjoy everything about my day.”
On the professional front, the Marvel star is excited about his upcoming appearances in MCU films, including Spider-Man 4, set to be released in July 2026.
