Acceptance speech – Ernie Davis Award winner Lucas Mosher
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – The 2024 Ernie Davis Award winner was presented with the special honor Thursday afternoon.
Horseheads’ standout running back Lucas Mosher was the recipient of the 62nd Annual Ernie Davis Award which is awarded to the area’s top high school football player. Mosher rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and racked up 16 touchdowns this season for the Blue Raiders who won their first Section IV title since 1998.
