Olajide “JJ” Olatunji popularly known as KSI, is one of the most influential YouTubers in the UK, known for his gaming videos, music, and comedy content with millions of followers.
Early Life and Education
Olajide “JJ” Olatunji was born on June 19, 1993, in Watford, Hertfordshire, and brought up by his parents, Olajide Olatunji from Ibadan, Nigeria, and Olayinka Olatunji from Islington, London.
He attended Reddiford School in Pinner and Berkhamsted School in Berkhamsted, where he met Simon Minter (also known as “Miniminter”), and both of them became a close friend and Sidemen collaborators.

Fame and Career
KSI began his YouTube career in 2009 by sharing FIFA gaming videos, which attracted many followers and became popular after co-founding the Sidemen, a British YouTube group that specialized in everything from gaming to challenges and comedic skits.
KSI is also the CEO of Misfits Boxing, and his venture into music has earned him a top spot on the UK charts. He also organized a professional boxing contest against other YouTubers, like Logan Paul, which attracted viewers from all over the world and got him listed among Forbes 30 Under 30.
KSI also has co-founding firms such as Prime Hydration, XIX Vodka, and Sides Restaurant Group.
Personal Life
Although KSI has mostly kept his relationships quiet, fans are aware of his 2014 breakup with Sean Cuthbert from high school and he has been associated with Anne Marie, Nia Pickering, and model Lois Sharpe. Since then, he has kept his personal life out of the spotlight and concentrated on his commercial and professional pursuits despite public interest.
KSI is also known for his charity outreach, such as the SpecialEffect foundation, which works to make gaming accessible for people with physical disabilities; he gave $10,000 to Castro1021’s charity stream in 2015.
